rmmod

• Remove a module from the kernel:

sudo rmmod module_name

• Remove a module from the kernel and display verbose information:

sudo rmmod --verbose module_name

• Remove a module from the kernel and send errors to syslog instead of stderr:

sudo rmmod --syslog module_name
