• Create a snapshot of a specific virtual machine:

qm snapshot vm_id snapshot_name

• Create a snapshot with a specific description:

qm snapshot vm_id snapshot_name --description description

• Create a snapshot including the vmstate:

qm snapshot vm_id snapshot_name --description description --vmstate 1
