git stripspace

• Trim whitespace from a file:

cat path/to/file | git stripspace

• Trim whitespace and Git comments from a file:

cat path/to/file | git stripspace --strip-comments

• Convert all lines in a file into Git comments:

git stripspace --comment-lines < path/to/file
